I saw a curious box of moving lights on Sunday. The Devils images flickering on the other side of a peep hole. Twas the captivating work of druids.
It was also a sneak preview of “Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea by 1927.
Like the proverbial formaldehyde soaked oddity in a jar it puts me in mind of an amazing chimera of Chris Morris, David Shrigley, and the darkness that creeps in where memories yellow.
I hear whispers that 1927 is the zoetrope reels of a Mr Paul Barrit and the exquisitely unnerving verse and performance of Ms Suzanne Andrade
There will be a full performance of that twisted magic between the 9th and 11th of January 07 at the B.A.C. in Battersea.
